Here’s where we get to spill the beans and tell you about our rich heritage in Grove City and specifically in the Grove City coffee culture. Here is the history of the original inspiration for beans on broad – George Howe of Here’s Howe Coffee.

It all started when...

Our story began long before Micaela opened the doors in 2009. Ours is a story that began four generations ago right here on Broad Street when her great-grandfather George J. Howe began roasting coffee beans in his grocery story with an old roaster he had found. He gave away 1 lb of his roasted beans to each customer who spent $10 in his grocery store.  His customers loved the coffee so much that he followed the market and incorporated his coffee roasting business, moving it to Main Street in 1927.  This was the official beginning of the George J. Howe company (also known as Here’s Howe). The family business continues to thrive today.

So here we are, 85 years later back on Broad Street once again serving those delicious Here’s Howe coffee beans and Micaela moves forward with the knowledge she learned growing up in a family of coffee roasters. Now, each time you step through our door, you become part of our story.  Welcome to the family!

We are a locally owned business here in Grove City, PA.   We love coffee and think you should too.  But, if you don’t…we have sandwiches and pastries too!

We believe community is important.  That is why we are located in the heart of Olde Towne Grove City.  We love the cluster of businesses on this street who are all working hard day in and day out.   We support  community not just by providing a greet meeting place where conversations and new ideas and new people can intertwine, but also by being involved.  Check out our shop to unearth more details!
