Special Events & Private Parties

Catering and Events are opportunities for us to work more closely with our guests, oportunities for us to share in your celebration! Over the years we have hosted our share of showers, business socials, music shows, art shows, poetry, open mic nights, and even a wedding or two!

The Main floor

Seats up to 60- Available for private parties on SUNDAYS ONLY for $200 or after hours for $150

Our downstairs space is the right choice for most events. With our original tin ceilings, nostalgic pulley fans and original hard woods and exposed brick walls, you get a special venue when you chose beans. In the past we have set it up for art events, music nights, community events, and many, many showers. We work to optimize the space for your event's specific needs. We don't stop there- we also work with you to craft a menu or to have an open coffee bar depending on your needs.

The Loft (upstairs)

Seats up to 15

Our upstairs space is a great place for your meeting or small gathering during our regular business hours. There is a long counter top along the wall with bar stools that makes a great spot to display or place food and drink. There are also tables and chairs to gather around and brainstorm/ talk/ strategize as need be. Please see below for prices and hours. Please call us or contact us to reserve ahead of time.

Weekdays:
less than 1 hour: free
1-2 hours: $25
3 hours or more: $50

Saturdays:
up to one hour: $50

Artists & Musicians

Artists– are you looking for a place to exhibit your work? Then you may either bring in a sample of your work through a scheduled appointment or you may send a picture of your work to us at mcmay86[at]gmail.com. We have a rule of thumb of displaying artwork for one month. Please provide a label for your piece listing your name, contact information, description, and price if for sale. We ask that you handle all questions and selling of your art so that we don’t become the middle man.

Musicians- you looking for a new venue and audience? Come play at beans.

Here’s how it works. You choose a Friday or Saturday night that you would like to play a show. Contact us, check if our calendar is open and send us a sample of your music. It can be an mp3 to our email, a link to a youtube video, or you can drop off your cd. We like different kinds of music but try to keep a certain type of atmosphere going. If you play, we provide the chairs and set up the tables for you and share our extension cords. We hang up some posters in the shop and have postcards we pass out letting people know that you’re coming. If you would like more advertisement, that’s up to you! We provide the space, you provide the following. It’s up to you if there is a cover charge or an open guitar case for tips. You manage that, you bring your sound equipment and set up. We’ll be here, managing the food and coffee.
